Year 6 Primary Teacher

 

Location: Rugeley

Duration: Full time post ongoing

Salary: £180 – 225 per day (DOE)

 

The School/role:

We are currently hiring for an ‘Outstanding’ Primary school in Rugeley, who are looking for a Year 6 Primary Teacher to join their team of staff. The school are looking for a Primary Teacher to work in a full-time, on-going basis with a Year 6 class. The school are looking for someone who has experience teaching the KS2 curriculum and ideally experience supporting SAT’s.

 

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Available immediately
  • Level 1, or higher, safeguarding certificate
  • Experience as a class teacher
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – registered on the update service

The school are looking for a Primary Teacher to work on a full-time basis, with a passionate and creative year 6 class. The school are devoted to ensuring the development and care of all their pupils, so a candidate with prior experience, solid behaviour management and inclusive practice skills would be required. The role of the experienced teacher would be to manage the students, creating detailed lesson plans across all areas of the curriculum, delivering high-quality and differentiated teaching and support. You will also be required to show enthusiasm and commitment for wider community involvement.

 

The school is looking for an experienced teacher who is particularly motivated to support the inclusion of all children in the school, regardless of their needs or backgrounds. This will include being a passionate and committed member of an already excellent team of educators, supporting with developing the children’s core reading, writing and numeracy skills.

 

This position will include interaction with a variety of students with different levels of education including some with SEN. Whilst SEN experience is not a direct requirement, the ideal candidate must be able to provide a calm, friendly, and safe learning environment for all pupils.
