Location: Lichfield

Duration: Full time post ongoing

Salary: £145 – 200 per day (DOE)

 

The School/role:

We are recruiting excellent Supply Teachers to support primary schools in and around the Lichfield area by providing short and long-term cover. As a Supply Teacher you will be working with a range of different schools and Key Stages supporting the children with their education. There is some flexibility of the days in which you are available, meaning this role would be a great opportunity for someone looking to work around studies or other commitments. This is also suitable for ECT’s who are looking to gain a wide range of experience to support their development and CV’s.

We are looking for fantastic educators to take on a Supply Teacher role, working with a number of fantastic schools in and around the Lichfield area that require staff to cover short-term and long-term for illness and staff absences. These schools come with a variety of challenges and rewards, and we can place you into the schools best suited to your values, experiences and needs. You can gain experience across a range of mainstream and SEN settings or use your expertise to support other educators in a range of roles within the school.

 

Ensuring the success of the students within their education is extremely important to all the schools we work with, so the ideal Supply Teacher for this role will have experience within this field whilst also contributing through their desire and motivation to help the children achieve. This will include being an enthusiastic and committed member of already excellent teams of educators. As a Supply Teacher, though not normally required, you will need to be comfortable planning and delivering schemes of work, including scaffolding tasks effectively to support children across the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1, or higher, safeguarding certificate
  • Experience as a class teacher
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – registered on the update service
