SEN Teaching Assistant/Mentor

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £60 – £75 per day

 

Requirements:

  • SEND school-based Experience
  • CACHE or qualified teaching assistant
  • In-date team teach, with the certificate
  • SEMH, SEBD, ADHD, Autism and challenging behavior needs experience
  • Available Immediately on a full-time basis
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving License or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service

 

The School/role:

There is a challenging yet rewarding, full-time role available for an SEN teaching assistant/mentor within an SEN school in Wasall.

 

The school is looking to grow their team with someone who holds an in-date team teach qualification, has the certificate and will use it. You will need to be prepared to use this daily.

 

The students will have a mix of needs which include SEMH, SEBD, ADHD, autism and challenging behaviour. Due to this, you will need to be able to have worked with these needs previously.

 

You will be required to work the full academic school day and year, 5 days a week as an SEN Teaching Assistant/mentor.
