SEN Teaching Assistant- MALE

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £60-80 per day

 

Requirements:

  • SEND school-based Experience
  • Qualified teaching assistant or teaching assistant experience
  • SEMH, SEBD and ADHD needs experience.
  • In date team teach qualification
  • Available Immediately on a full-time basis
  • Due to the needs of the students, needs to be a male
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service

 

The School/role:

I have a rewarding but challenging role available for an SEN teaching assistant to work within a secondary and sixth form PRU within Walsall. Due to the needs of the students, it is vital that you are a male.

 

For this role you will need to have a resilient strong character and an in-date team teach qualification as you will be working with students who have severe SEMH, SEBD and ADHD. You will need to restrain them daily.

 

In order to be considered for this role you need to have worked within an SEN school recently for at least a minimum of 6 months.

 

The role will run on a full-time basis ongoing. A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.
