SEN Teaching Assistant
Duration: Full time, on going
Salary: £60-70 per day
We are actively seeking a TA who is ‘Team Teach’ trained with experience in mental health and behavioural needs within a Walsall SEND School.
The role is to work on a long-term basis supporting challenging needs students who have SEMH and SEBD needs. You will be working in small groups or 1:1 ensuring the students follow their work and that their behaviour is managed effectively.
The school are looking for someone to work on a full-time basis and this will run until the end of the academic year with the view to become permanent.
You will be required to have valid, Team Teach training which you have been using recently.

- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- SEND school-based/PRU Experience
- SEMH, SEBD needs experience
- ‘Team Teach’ trained
- Available Immediately
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – registered on the update service
