SEN TA

 

Location: Erdington

Duration: Full time, long term contract

Salary: £60-£70

 

The School/role:

 

We are currently recruiting an experienced SEN teaching assistant for a school based in Erdington. You will be working alongside KS1-KS4 children with a range of needs including, ASD, MLD, SEBD and SEMH. Having experience working with these needs is essential and Team Teach restraint training will be required. The school is very supportive and will help you throughout your time teaching and developing students. Having a passion for teaching is very important and you will need to share the same vision as the school to ensure that every child gets the same opportunity to develop and learn.

You will be working on a full-time basis as soon as possible with the view to go permanent in the same position. Please apply as soon as possible to be considered for this position.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • ASD, MLD, SEBD and SEMH experience
  • Team Teach Qualification (In-date)
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – on the update service
