SEND Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £55-65 per day

 

The School/role:

We are working with a fantastic SEN school in the Wolverhampton area that are seeking a full time TA to support in the school.

The school is a setting for pupils with a range of learning who need high levels of care and support in all aspects of their learning and lives. The ideal person will have strong classroom support experience within SEN, specifically with SEMH, SEBD, ASD and be able to support a positive learning environment. You must be pro-active, caring and approachable. The students you will be supporting are challenging so excellent ability with behavioural needs are essential.

This is a full-time post and will run ongoing assisting the children within the classroom.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant – Level 3
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • ASD, SEMH, SEBD experience
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – on the update service
