- Full-time – 8:30am to 3:30pm daily
- Salary – £75-£90
Balfor Education are currently recruiting for hard-working, confident Teaching Assistant to work within a Primary school in Oldbury. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, who can provide tailored support to the class and on a one-one basis. The role is full-time, to start ASAP, and will potentially continue for one full academic year.
This role will involve:
- Planning EYFS resources and activities that meet child’s IEP targets.
- Carrying out Reading & Writing assessments and recording information
- Assisting in the daily routines for the students
- To support teaching and learning across the whole curriculum
- Working with child on range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
- Support students across the Year group where needed
- Liaising with parents
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and Learning
- Must have EYFS/KS1 curriculum knowledge.
- Adaptability to your surroundings
- Able to carry out small group work and work with individuals from teacher’s planning.
- Great use of initiative.
