SEN Teaching Assistant


Location: Wednesbury

Duration: Full time, until summer

Salary: £55-65 per day


The School/role:

The school we are working with are looking for a strong member of staff to support with challenging SEN learners.

The school is based locally and supports learners across KS3/KS4 that have SEMH, SEBD and ADHD needs, which result in quite challenging behaviour. They are seeking someone with a strong knowledge and ability to de-escalate needs effectively, including the use of ‘Team Teach’ where necessary. The role itself will run on a full time basis, and you will be well supported by the team in the school but must be able to self-manage also.

  • SEND Teaching Assistant Experience
  • SEMH, SEBD, ASD experience
  • ‘Team Teach’ Trained
  • Available full time
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – on the update service
