SEN Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Oldbury

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £55-65 per day

 

The School/role:

We are working with a large SEN school in the area that are seeking a TA to work with them on a long-term basis.

The school is a fantastic setting that caters for students with PMLD and SLD needs and aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment for the students they care for. The pupils are at primary level and require strong assistance along with personal care throughout the day. You must be experienced working with PMLD, SLD, Sensory, speech and language, complex and ASD needs in order to be successful in this role, as you must be able to hit the ground running and provide effective support.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • SEN school based Experience
  • PMLD, SLD, Sensory, Complex, speech and language Experience
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – on the update service
