SEN Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: ASAP, full time ongoing temporary post

Salary: £60 – 70 per day

 

The School/role:

We are recruiting for a SEN school in the Wolverhampton area that are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with them on a full-time basis. This is a role for an experienced SEN TA who has previously worked with Autism, SLD, Complex and PMLD needs at a range of levels.

We are working with a school in the Wolverhampton area that are seeking an TA to work with them on a full-time basis within special needs.

You will be supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils who have a range of complex, physical and PMLD needs. You will be supporting them in their learning and development and ensuring they have a full, enriching experience at school.

The school is very proud of the progress they make with their students and aims to ensure each child is supported in all aspects of their needs.

You will be required to provide personal care, which is essential to the role and will ensure the children get the support they need.

This is a long term; full time post working at the school and would ideally start immediately.

You must have school-based experience with SLD, PMLD, ASC and complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • SEN school-based Experience
  • SLD, ASD, ASC, SPLD, PMLD, Complex needs experience
  • Child and Adult Workforce DBS
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
