SEND Teaching Assistant


Location: Birmingham

Duration: Full time, on-going

Salary: £60-70 per day


The School/role:

We are currently looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant who can take on a full-time in a fantastic SEN school in Birmingham. The children in the school have very specific needs therefore the teaching assistant will need lots of experience working with needs such as SLD, ASD and Complex Needs children.


The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very rewarding for people who have SEND experience who are looking to take their next step in their education career.


The position would start 4th September and would be on-going to the end of the academic year with the hope that the school would take the teaching assistant permanently.

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Relevant school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – on the update service
