The School/role:
We are currently looking for an experienced teaching assistant who can take on a full-time on-going job role in a fantastic school in Birmingham. This role will include working on a 1:1 basis, there are two roles within the school one working 1:1 assisting a year 6 child in the schools resource hub supporting behaviour and concentration.

We are working with a school within the Birmingham area that are seeking a committed and motivated teaching assistant. This will include supporting teachers with material preparation for lessons, assisting with displays and providing direct 1 on 1 or small group student support. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting students either 1 on 1 or within small groups with their reading, writing, maths or behaviour dependent upon situation.
The candidate for this role will be experienced supporting SEN children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.
The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very rewarding for people who have teaching assistant experience.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant level 2 or 3 OR Relevant SEN Background
- SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
- Immediately available
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Relevant school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
