SEN Teacher – January start

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Part time, January onwards

Salary: M1 – M6 pay scale

 

The School/role:

We are working with a fantastic setting in the Walsall area that is seeking a Teacher to work with them on a part time basis in January.

The role is supporting Complex and ASD needs pupils at primary level. You will need strong knowledge of ASD and the use of PECs supporting individuals. Within this role you will be maintaining EHCPS and individual care plans for each student, along with tailoring the lessons to the individuals. Some of these pupils are non-verbal so ability with non-verbal students is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN teacher.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

 

Requirements:

  • SEND Teacher Experience
  • SEND School based experience
  • QTS – Qualified Teacher Status
  • ASD, Non Verbal, Complex needs experience
  • PECs knowledge
  • Available part time – 3 days a week
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – on the update service
