The School/role:

We are recruiting for a SEN school in the Walsall area that are seeking an English Teacher to work with them on a full-time basis from September.

The position is working full time from September, teaching English to challenging SEMH, SEBD learners at KS3 and KS4. You will be planning and delivering a strong curriculum to support students across the key stages and additionally providing enrichment and mentoring where necessary.

The students at the school have made Outstanding progress within the last term, so someone who can continue to push and develop their learning would be highly desired.

If you have a strong passion for working with SEND children who have behavioural needs and can effectively develop the English curriculum then this role would be ideal for you.

You will be working on a full-time basis and must hold a child and adult workforce DBS.


The role will run on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

  • Qualified Teacher Status – QTS
  • English Teaching Experience/Qualification
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • SEMH, SEBD, ASD, ADHD experience
  • Child and Adult Workforce DBS
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
