SEN Teacher

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time post ongoing

Salary: £180 – 200 per day

 

The School/role:

Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled educator with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We’re looking for a Teacher to join our team in Walsall and provide invaluable support and guidance to the students who need it most. This school Is a state special school for boys and girls aged from 11 to 19 with autism, moderate and severe learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and physical impairments.

We are working with a school in the Walsall area that are seeking a teacher to work on a full-time basis. This includes managing the students, creating detailed lesson plans across all areas of the curriculum with support from a teaching assistant. Also Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

 

Ensuring the success of the students within their education is extremely important to the school, so the ideal candidate for this role will have experience within this field whilst also contributing through their desire and motivation to help the children achieve. This will include being an enthusiastic and committed member of an already excellent team of educators.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

 

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Experience as a class teacher
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
