Duration: Full time, long term contract
Salary: Up to M6 pay scale
We are currently looking for a strong SEN teacher to work full-time in a school located in Birmingham. The school has a great atmosphere due to the committed staff team who ensure they create exciting and engaging learning opportunities for all their children. The candidate will need to be able to work on a 1-1 basis as well as support larger groups of children with a range of needs including ASD, PMLD and Complex needs. SEN qualifications and training such as PECS or Makaton would be ideal but not necessary. The candidate will be working with KS3 and KS4 children to help them achieve their full potential. This position is ongoing and will run to the end of the academic year. The candidate will also need to be able to plan and prepare effective lessons for a range of subjects.

- Qualified Teacher Status – QTS
- ASD, PMLD and Complex needs experience
- Experience in a SEN School
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
