SEN TA

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time, January onwards

Salary: £55-70 per day

 

The School/role:

We are working with an SEN school in the Walsall area that are seeking a TA to work with them on a full time basis.

The school supports primary aged children with challenging SEMH and SEBD needs and who have strong levels of behavioural needs.

The role is working 1:1 with a student who displays SEMH issues and needs a nurturing, experienced adult to work with them to manage this behaviour and develop their learning.

This role would suit someone who has worked in an SEND school or PRU previously and who is looking to work full time.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

 

Requirements:

  • SEND Teaching Assistant Experience
  • SEN School based experience
  • SEMH or SEBD experience
  • Available full time
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – on the update service
