We are looking to be with a PRU in a Walsall to work alongside with them. This will be working in a primary PRU school starting ASAP on a full-time basis. The school is looking for someone who has strong knowledge and experience dealing with students with SEMH, SEBD and ADHD at primary level. You will be providing support to a student who can have behavioural, communication and mental health difficulties. In this role you are required to have team teach training and have a valid certificate. The focus of a teaching assistant is to support the student effectively, manage and develop their behaviour in a positive manner. The PRU should be able to provide each pupil with a wide range of learning experiences, which will help to prepare them for their future. This is a great school to work at and will be a worthwhile role for the successful applicant.
Please note: A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- PRU school-based Experience
- SEMH, SEBD and ADHD experience
- Team teach required
- Child and Adult Workforce DBS
- Available Immediately
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school-based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving License or passport
- Full DBS – registered on the update service
