SEN Primary Teacher
Duration: Full time, long term contract
Salary: Up to M6 pay scale
We are currently looking for a strong SEN teacher to work full-time in a school located in Birmingham. The school is an excellent place to work due to the committed staff team who ensure they create exciting and engaging learning opportunities for all their children.
The candidate will also need to be able to plan and prepare effective lessons for a range of subjects. The teacher will need to have experience working with needs such as ASD, SLD, SEMH and Complex Needs and be confident implementing the curriculum.
The candidate will need to be able to work on a 1-1 basis as well as support larger groups of children working closely with teaching assistants within the classroom. The candidate will be working with KS1 and KS2 SEN children.
This position will run for the full academic year until September.

- Qualified Teacher Status – QTS
- Teaching experience with ASD, SLD, SEMH and Complex Needs
- Experience in a SEN School or PRU
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
