SEN Male Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Darlaston

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £300 – £350 Per Week

 

Requirements:

  • SEND school-based Experience
  • A qualified teaching assistant / SEN teaching assistant experience
  • SEMH, SEBD, Autism and challenging behaviour needs experience
  • Must be a male due to the needs of the student
  • Team Teach or SCIPP trained
  • Available Immediately on a full-time basis
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service

Are you a strong willed, enthusiastic, restraint trained SEN teaching assistant who is a male looking for a new challenge in Darlaston? Then this is for you!

 

I am looking, due to the needs of the students, a male SEN teaching assistant to work with children between the ages of 3 and 19 with a mix of needs. These needs range from SEMH, SEBD to Autism and challenging behaviour, so you will need to have restraint training.

 

You will be required to work on a day to day and an ongoing basis with this role depending on the students and will be working in both a 1:1 and 2:1 environment.
