SEN English Teacher

 

Location: Walsall

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £120- £180 per day

 

Requirements:

  • Must be QTS or QTLS – Specialising in English
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • ADHD, Autism, PMLD and complex needs experience
  • Available for a September start
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service

 

The School/role:

There is a brand new September starting role available for an SEN QTS English specialist teacher in the Walsall area for an exclusive school of ours.

 

You will be working with KS1 up to KS4 with classes of up to 8 students. You will always have a minimum of 1 or 2 Teaching Assistants with you in the class.

 

The students will have a mix of Autism, PMLD, ADHD and complex needs. You will need to ensure you’re able to create adaptable lesson plans to ensure that if the students are not being receptive during class you can adapt it to their needs during the class.

 

The role will run on a full-time basis ongoing. Please apply immediately to be considered for this position.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

  • Must be comfortable providing personal care, experience ideal
