SEN English Teacher


Location: Coventry

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £120 – £180 per day



  • Must be QTS or QTLS – Specialising in English
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • ADHD, Autism, PMLD and complex needs experience
  • Available for a September start
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service


The School/role:

In Coventry we are looking for QTS or QTLS SEN Teacher with a specialism in English, available full time for a September start for the full academic year.


To put your application about the rest, it is ideal if you have also taught drama. You will need to have experience teaching students with ADHD, OMLD, Autism and complex needs.


You will be teaching KS3&4, in a class of a maximum of 8 students who are accompanied by SEN teaching Assistants. There may be times of emergencies where you are needed to do personal care, but this will mostly be handled by the TA’s.


We will need to be able to get a reference covering at least a minimum of 6 months teaching within an SEN or PRU school.


The role will run on a full-time basis ongoing. Please apply immediately to be considered for this position.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.
