Salary: £60-75

Role description:

We are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant to work with a Wolverhampton SEN school on a long-term basis starting ASAP.

The role will begin immediately, and you will be supporting young learners at KS1 and KS2 who have a range of behavioural and learning difficulties such as SEMH, SEBD and ADHD. As mentioned above the role will be on a full-time basis starting ASAP in a great SEN school located in Wolverhampton.

The candidate must have experience working in SEN schools supporting SEN students. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant is to work alongside the students to support and help to manage their behaviour effectively and positively.

The Teaching Assistant should be nurturing and who can offer positive reinforcement to the students and their lives. Also, to provide the pupil with the ability to grow in confidence and form positive relationships with the people in the community. This is a great school to work with and will be a worthwhile role for the successful applicant.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • SEMH, SEBD and ADHD needs experience
  • Team teach needed (in date) with a valid certificate
  • Willing to preform personal care
  • Child and Adult Workforce DBS
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving License or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
