Salary: £65 – 70 per day

The School:

We are exclusively recruiting for an amazing SEN teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis in a school located in Stechford. You will need experience working with a range of special needs, including SEBD, SEMH, ADHD and ASD needs.

You will need to feel competent and confident in working on a 1-1 basis as well as working with larger groups of children. Experience teaching in all key stages would be ideal as this school has a broad range of age groups from KS1-KS4.

The position will be full-time with the hope to turn permanent if the candidate is the right fit for the school. Team Teach qualification will be essential for this role as restraint procedures may be required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant, SEN experience or PRU experience
  • SEMH, SEBD, ADHD and ASD needs experience
  • Team Teach Qualification
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving License or passport
  • Full Child and Adult Workforce DBS – on the update service
