Science Teacher


Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Full time, ongoing temporary role

Salary: £120 – 165 per day dependant on experience


The School/role:

We are recruiting for a SEN school in Wolverhampton who are seeking a Science Teacher to start in January on a full-time basis. This is a SEN School who have pupils with SEMH and SEBD needs.

This is a role for an experienced SEN Teacher who can teach Science to challenging learners at KS3/KS4. These pupils have SEMH and SEBD needs.

The setting is based centrally within Wolverhampton and look after pupils with challenging behavioural and mental health needs. You will need to be strong with behaviour in order to work effectively with these students, whilst also ensuring their needs are met and managed effectively.

This is a full-time role, starting January and you will be required to plan, prepare and deliver a concise curriculum. The ideal candidate will have worked with highly challenging SEN Students previously and have a strong knowledge of Science.

  • Qualified Teacher Status – QTS
  • Science Teaching experience
  • SEN school/PRU based experience
  • ASD, SEMH, SEBD needs experience
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
