Balfor Education are currently seeking an experienced SEND Teacher for a Specialist ASD Unit within an “outstanding” School, supporting nursery and primary aged pupils based in the Sheldon area of Birmingham.
We are seeking to appoint exceptional, highly motivated and skillful qualified teachers to work with complex ASD pupils. We are looking for applicants with practical expertise in autistic spectrum disorders and communication difficulties.
The school is committed to providing continuous professional development for all staff and would provide valuable experience to staff wishing to strengthen their understanding of inclusion, delivery of an access curriculum and understanding of multidisciplinary working. In order to apply you will need to:
- Be a qualified or newly qualified teacher, ideally with a PGCE, B.Ed. or BA with QTS
- Have some experience or working with SEND pupils.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Be prepared to have a Disclosure and Barring Service check carried out.
In return Balfor will provide you with a dedicated consultant and will pay to scale.
