Primary ASD TA:

Location: North Birmingham

Salary: £60 – £75 per day

Full-time and part-time roles available

Job description:

We are recruiting for an excellent SEN school in North Birmingham looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who can start immediately on a full-time or part-time basis.

This SEND school in North Birmingham is an excellent establishment with primary students who are dealing with ASD, SLD and Complex Needs. The SEN school is looking for strong teaching assistants who specializes in learning difficulties and dealing with complex needs.

The teaching assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis as well as group sessions with the students to promote their independence and help with their learning. Due to the needs of the students there may be occasions where they need assistance with personal care.

The ideal candidate for this role must have experience when dealing with Complex Needs with children or adults.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
  • SEND school-based Experience
  • ASD, SLD, Complex Needs: needs experience
  • Willing to preform personal care
  • Child and Adult Workforce DBS
  • Available Immediately
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
  • Recent school-based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving License or passport
  • Full DBS – registered on the update service
